In the event of a hose burst, the tipper body starts to lower in a very dynamic and dangerous way. If this happens, the hose burst valve activates at an oil flow of 215 litres per minute and slows down the lowering tipper and stops its movement by closing the oil flow. This prevents oil spillage, avoids contamination and prevents truck damage which could occur due to falling of the tipper body with load in it. Designed as a safety device, the Hyva valve gradually stops the tipper motion which avoids dynamic pressure peaks in the cylinder which could lead to cylinder damage or even explosion and serious damage to the truck.
